Here are some tips:

• Find Out the Direction of the Wind – You want to shoot up wind. Otherwise they`ll come out REALLY hazy, think of all of that smoke!
• With digital, take as many pictures as possible, that way, you`ll up your chances of getting that `perfect` shot.
• Pre-focus if possible, after all you do not want to be fiddling with your setting and not  get the shot!
