If you use Facebook, do not forget that you can also create a Calendar Event to promote your contest.

How to do:

In Facebook on the “what’s on your mind?” box click; ATTACH, here you can add a link, photo, video or EVENT.

Click on EVENT.

Add in your contest name, (make sure you say it is a photo contest) Next, under location you can add  the link to your contest.  For the date, add in the last day of your contest.

Now you are ready to share your event with all of your Facebook contacts.

Best of all your Photo Contest Event will now be displayed on your Facebook home page .
