Using images on HTML loading site pages

Here are the steps to use images on a MorePhotos website template’s site page that loads as HTML.

1. Upload the image or images you wish to use on your page using the PhotoManager application.

  • Open PhotoManager.
  • Click the Add Images button, browse to the folder that contains the images you wish to use.
  • Click the Add Folder button.
  • Click the Next button twice.
  • Select “Website Images” from the Event Type drop down menu. [pic]
  • Click the Send Event button.

2. Update the template site page from your Online Manager.

  • Login to your online manager
  • Click website maanger from the left
  • Click site pages from the top
  • Click the update icon next to the site page you wish to add the image to.
  • If you wish to locate the image to a specific area on the site page place your cursor in the area first.
  • Click the Insert Image button, or select Insert Image from the Insert menu. [pic]
  • Select the folder you uploaded, then select the image you want to use.
  • Click the OK button to drop in your new image.
  • Click the Update button to save your changes.

SMS text notifications for new orders

All you have to do is add a email address to your “Order Confirmation Emails” field in your PhotoManager application during your upload, or you can add the email to the “Order Confirmation Emails” field located in your Online Manager for events that are already online. The importance of watermarking your images

To some this may be a new idea, but to many it is an everyday assurance that you online images are as protected as they can be. One way of utilizing the tools we offer to protect your images is to watermark them. This can be done in the PhotoManager before the upload process has taken place. To add a watermark to your images open PhotoManager:

  • Choose the Options button located near the bottom left hand corner of the application
  • Choose images & watermark from the sub-menu
  • Mark the use custom watermarks check box
  • Click the define custom watermark button.

Here you can insert a copyright symbol and enter the text to the style you desire, or you can use a logo watermark by choosing select logo and browsing to your logo file. Remember: It is very important in this industry to keep your images as protected as possible!
