Event link creation

You have the ability to create links directly to your online events from inside your online manager! If you are using a MorePhotos website template you also have the option to display the link as a stand-alone navigation on your site. To set this up, first login to your Online Manager.

  1. Click Website Manager from the left side navigation, then Site Pages from the top.
  2. Click the ‘Add link to Event’ hyperlink in the upper right of the page. [view image]
  3. On the next screen fill out the ‘Name of Link’ field with either the name of the event of whatever you would like the site navigation to read, check the ‘Show in Menu’ box if you are using a MorePhotos template and you would like the link to show up on the site.
  4. Select the Event you are linking to from the ‘Event’ drop down menu.
  5. Click the Submit button at the bottom.
  6. You will see a confirmation screen with a message ‘To edit another page click here‘ click on that link to return to your list of Site Pages.

If you are distributing this hyperlink to clients or to another website owner for example, you will still need to send this link to them. You can copy the whole hyperlink from the ‘Site Pages’ list, find your site page in the list, then copy the URL located under the link column. [view image]

How to change hyperlink colors for HTML pages

One question I seem to receive quite often is how can I change the color of my links in my site pages? To go about changing these colors log in to your Online Manager. Click Website Manager from the left, Site Pages from the top, then click the update icon Update Icon for the site page you wish to edit (for example: contact us). Within the page content area you will see a “Format” menu,

The Format Menu

click Format and then click on “Page Properties”. A pop-up window will open (you may need to allow pop-ups if your browser is set to block them) on it you will see fields for Link Color, Active Link Color, and Visited Link Color.

These are displayed in the hex color code and you can change these to match any site page of your choice!
